Guided Walking HolidaysFantastic property
This is a fantastic property - you could literally not ask for more charm in the village location. The apartment is very spacious and very well appointed, with anything you could want or need to make it feel that you are at home. The hosts are so friendly, helpful and gracious - they made us feel completely welcome, and gave us excellent advice on where to hike in the area as well as driving tips and so forth. The village is utterly charming, tranquil without being boring (not at all) and is definitely a place we would love to return to. Thank you to Graeme and Gabriela for making our week in Provence such a special time!"

Guided Walking HolidaysMix between modern comforts and traditional French design
I'd like to say that this was an absolutely fantastic AirBNB. Even though Graeme had just flown and driven several hours to return to France, he took two hours to sit down and offer us a drink, snacks, and a wonderful chat. He is a very interesting individual who does everything he can to make you feel at home. As for the flat, it too was exactly what we were hoping for: a mix between modern comforts and traditional French design. It has an amazing panoramic view from the front entrance and another balcony overlooking a beautiful garden. It is located in the best part of Forcalquier - the little historic district. The town itself is a perfect base for making day excursions, such as to the Verdon Gorges. It is clean, comfy and would be best for a couple seeking a romantic Provencal vacation. The kitchen is also fully operational (and everything is new too). We highly recommend this flat or anything else run by Graeme and Gabriela!

Caroline from Vailly-sur-Sauldre, France - 04/2017
Translation from French: Perfect location, exotic and authentic surroundings, all comfort! Very good.
Christine from Saint Catharines, Canada - 04/2017
Translation from French: I loved the location of this loft in the center of Forcalquier, quiet, close to everything, on foot. There is everything you need for a wonderful stay, especially the terrace overlooking the Lurs mountain with its magical panorama! I recommend this place to all.
Julien from Besançon, France - 02/2017
Translation from French: The apartment was clean and well equipped, the house has a lot of charm. Graeme and Gabriela were absent, but I was well received and they regularly check I was okay. The house is very well placed in the city, in a very nice neighborhood, at the doorstep of the citadel and close to shops. In short, with the good weather as a bonus, it was an excellent stay.
Guided Walking HolidaysThanks so much for the privilege
Thanks so much for the privilege of letting our mob invade your piece of paradise! Our sojourn was even better than we expected. The apartments were so warm & comfortable & so well appointed. The large dining room table was the scene of much feasting: sometimes 1st sitting for kids and 2nd for oldies but other times all 14 shared together. We did leave your wine store untouched! The open fire added so much enjoyment. Breakfast was always a scene of triumph as the bearer of fresh croissants & baguettes arrived! Xmas lunch destroyed a large capon in record time. We did trips in the Renaults to Digne (Carrefour shopping), to the snow on Mt Lur (1st snow ever for some!) to Cassis on a glorious sunny day, to a fascinating tour of the L'Occitane factory, to Petit Colorado where we found the Adventure rope course abandoned for winter - much to the delight of the kids! We learnt not to trust the GPS tour planner to get out of Forcalquier on the 1st day as it tried to take us down an ever narrowing laneway: eventually I had to reverse back up the hill (to the amusement of the locals!) - Fortunately the vans & wing mirrors escaped unscathed!

Guided Walking HolidaysThank you so much for a lovely stay
We loved the apartment; the patio was a dream place to sit and have a drink or coffee. The courtyards were so beautiful and full of character. It is the perfect place when visiting France. The location couldn't be better in Forcalquier, which is a perfect launching place to so many areas of Provence. Graeme came to meet and chat with us the day after we arrived since he had not been home when we came. He is such a warm, friendly helpful person. He went way above and beyond to help us in our attempts to find my husband's iPhone which he left on the train on our way there. Graeme spent an hour contacting and speaking with the Lost & Found at the train station for us. He also picked some fresh figs from his garden for us to enjoy. He also provided many suggestions for things to see and do and places to eat there. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

Guided Walking HolidaysFirst rate accommodation
First rate accommodation. Best host we have encountered. Arrived a little early, they walked with us to our car, drove us to the best parking and helped carry our luggage. Beyond the greeting, the place is exactly as pictured. Stunning courtyard! Great shower and kitchen.

Guided Walking HolidaysWonderful days
Karsen from Assens, Denmark - 09/2016

Translation from Danish: We called and got picked up by the host. It all worked fine and we had three wonderful days on site. Everything was fine and in order. We would like to recommend to others.

Guided Walking HolidaysPerfect location

Guided Walking HolidaysMore than my expectations
This is a charming apartment at the very heart of Forcalquier. It is very well equipped and very comfortable. The owners provide access to maps and guides to the town and local region. There are plenty of local walks of varying distances, all easily navigable with an excellent signing system. The apartment more than met my expectations, and I would recommend it strongly to those who want to be at the centre of this lively, picturesque town.
Bob from Oxford, UK - 08/2016
Guided Walking HolidaysGreat ambiance
Great flat in a very nice location. The village is an easy distance to many great locations, and the flat gives you a great ambiance for such a historical location. Clean, timely, and very enjoyable!
Katrina from London, UK - 08/2016
Guided Walking HolidaysSimply perfect
Our experience at Graeme & Gabriela' s home was simply perfect, because they have been always in contact with us, before and during our stay. The bedrooms were as clean as comfortable, such a pretty flat just over the centre. All the things were just like they seemed in the pictures, the flat and its description were the same. No problem at all with our arrival and finding the apartment. Absolutely reccomended.
Paola from San Giorgio di Piano, Italy - 08/2016
Guided Walking HolidaysStunning courtyard
Such a beautiful apartment in the best part of forcalquier close to the citadel. Quiet and peaceful but also a very close walk to all the shops and restaurants. The internal courtyard is stunning as well.
Hanna from Hackney, UK - 08/2016
Guided Walking HolidaysGreat experience
This was a great experience, Gabriela met us as arranged and directed us to the apartment where we unloaded our car and then we were able to park in the area Gabriela advised. The apartment was well furnished and had all the amenities advertised, we were moved to a bigger apartment at no extra cost due to a double booking and we appreciated the extra space. the wifi worked well once we worked out the correct password, the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms well appointed. One of the better accommodations during seven weeks in Europe. gabriele was very helpful with suggestions and recommendations and lent us a map for out trip to Verdun Gorge.
Chris and Sue from New Zealand - 08/2016
Guided Walking HolidaysWonderful vocation
Lovely apartment located in the old town. The plants and flowers make it a very enjoyable place to stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Graeme is easy to communicate with. We had a wonderful vocation here. Totally recommend.
Chi from Fribourg, Switzerland - 07/2016
Guided Walking HolidaysVery welcomed
We felt very welcomed and were in fact met at the bus stop and walked to our accommodation. Gabriela was very warm and engaging and made us feel very much at home. The location was excellent; so close to the village square, shops and restaurants and yet so very quiet.
Margaret from Adelaide, Australia - 07/2016
Guided Walking HolidaysLovely apartment
It was a real treat to stay in this lovely apartment. The attention to detail is what makes it special: a well equiped kitchen, beautiful courtyard, toys for our daughter and a warm welcome. Forcalquier is a charming town with many things to see close by. Thank you to Greame.
Marie-Eve from Montreal, Canada - 06/2016
Guided Walking HolidaysBest arrival and check-in experiences ever!
The communication with the hosts was excellent both before and during our stay: timely and clear. When we arrived, Graeme and Gabriela were not there, but a friend of theirs welcomes us and explained everything about the apartment, including parking, etc. One of the best arrival and check-in experiences ever! The apartment was as represented in the photos and the terrace is fabulous: sunny, secluded and very spacious. We spent most of our time outdoors, on the terrace, including all meals. The grill was an excellent addition and allowed us to cook some great meals. The kitchen is fully equipped and perfect for cooking in, which we love to do. The apartment is quiet, the courtyard is very secluded and away from any noise in the town, including Monday markets. Perfect for relaxing, working, vacationing. All in all, an extraordinary experience.

Guided Walking HolidaysExcellent base for trip
Graeme was an excellent host, meeting us in the town square, delivering grapes from the vine on our terrace and suggesting a number of interesting local places to visit. The house was comfortable and well equipped and made an excellent base for trips to Aix, Avignon, the Luberon and the mountains. Forcalquier is also a relaxing old town to explore. All in all a very good experience.
Alison from London, UK - 10/2015
Guided Walking HolidaysPerfect base for exploring
We had another great time in this lovely apartment in Forcalquier. Natalie was extremely helpful this visit and Graeme communicated with me several times to make sure we had everything we needed for a nice stay there. We could not improve on our review of our last stay in May 2013. Forcalquier is a beautiful little town with everything one might need within close reach and it is the perfect base for exploring this beautiful region of Haute-de-Provence about an hour north of Aix-en-Provence.
Ken from Seattle, USA - 09/2015
Guided Walking HolidaysSuperou nossas expectativas
Apartamento super fofo, superou nossas expectativas.
Rosangela from São Paulo, Brazil - 09/2015
Guided Walking HolidaysTerrace was a delight!
Perfectly corresponds to the description. Beautiful old building lovingly restored by the owners, in the center of the old village. So calm and peaceful while at the same time being 2 mins away from the restaurants, squares and new parts of town. The apartment has been carefully decorated and fitted out and the little terrace was a delight!
An from Versailles, France - 09/2015
Guided Walking HolidaysA lovely stay
Our hosts were away during our visit but they were very helpful and left us with lots of advice for seeing Provence. They arranged for a family friend to meet us and show us around the apartment, which all went without a hitch. The apartment was as described... Comfortable bed, clean bathroom and so on. Parking is free and just up the road. From Forcalquier, the Gorges du Verdon, Avignon and Aix-en-Provence are all within driving distance, as well as the Luberon. In the town itself, there is a lovely little creperie and a traditional French restaurant both within 2 minutes walk, and the apartment is just minutes from the town square (home to an amazing market on Monday mornings) or a short walk up to the citadel for views of the surrounding countryside. A lovely stay! Thank you

Guided Walking HolidaysEnchanting
Graeme and Gabriela's house is enchanting. We really enjoyed our stay there, the apartment is furnished with everything one might need and is located just in the city center. We would definitely stay there again, if we ever travel back to Fourcalquier. Many thanks for having us there and a big thank you to your friend Natalie!
Eugenio from Carate Brianza, Italy - 08/2015
Guided Walking HolidaysWonderful apartment
We stayed in this wonderful apartment for a few days in July. Walking to the house takes one through little cobbled streets of the oldest part of Forcalquier, lined with really old houses not much changed over the past few centuries. The door to the house opens up into a wonderful little courtyard, filled with plants, places to sit and the original stonework, a peaceful enclave from the modern world. The property is really two houses overlooking this courtyard, and the apartment we stayed in is one of 5 within the two houses. The apartment is on the upper floor of the front-facing house, so up a flight of well-worn ancient stone steps. The apartment is accurately represented by the photographs on the AirBnB web page. Everything about the building itself is ancient, but really well restored so one has a sense of living in an original many centuries-old building yet with most of the comforts of home. The appliances and cookware are good quality. The shower has great water pressure and no shortage of hot water. We were there in the hottest days of July, and it is worth noting that there is no AC, so fans were really a must to keep the air moving and to be able to sleep at night during those periods when the daytime temperatures are in the 90's (mid-30's C). We had a wonderful stay here and would not hesitate to recommend it to any of our friends.

Guided Walking HolidaysFantastic location
Fantastic location, couldn't be better for the city. Extremely spacious flat - everything in the kitchen you could possibly want, comfortable bed and the courtyard is a lovely bonus. It was super clean, beautifully decorated and a real home away from home. We really enjoyed our stay and are so glad we picked this place for our time in Forcalquier. On foot you are two seconds from the centre of town, but only 2 minutes walk from parking from which you can easily get to and from by car. Graeme was really communicative and so helpful beforehand and they have tons of local knowledge with a great book of recommendations in the flat. 100% recommend!
Caeli from London, UK - 07/2015
Guided Walking HolidaysPeaceful
Graeme and Gabriela are very good and kind hosts. All facilities are there in their beautiful apartment. The balcony offers a good spot for breakfast and a drink in the evening. The atmosphere of the apartment and village is peaceful and makes you feel relax. Graeme gave us very good recommendations to discover the Provence.
Ronald from Amsterdam, Netherlands - 07/2015
Guided Walking HolidaysEverything you need
Such a lovely place in the middle of a beautiful village. You only need just a few steps to get into the centre with some good restaurants and stores. In the flat is EVERYTHING you need and decorated and arrange with so much love. The outdoor part is so nice to have breakfast and an good-night-drink. The only thing in the house that wasn't perfect, was the Wifi-connection, because it only worked in some parts of the flat.
Axel from Würzburg, Germany - 07/2015
Guided Walking HolidaysPerfect location
A perfect location near a lovely little town; small but very clean, well thought out accommodation and very responsive hosts.
Caroline from London, UK - 07/2015
Guided Walking HolidaysFabulous apartment
Fabulous apartment, loved everything about it... location was superb, furnishings lovely, nice veranda, town itself was really lovely and not overrun with Brits which makes a nice change in Provence. Would like to have moved in, sure we'll be back.
Jude from Cardiff, UK - 04/2015
Guided Walking HolidaysCharming
The apartment is charming - one of a number surrounding an internal courtyard. It is tastefully renovated & has real character. It is spacious and well appointed. It is literally a minute's walking to the centre of town & parking is 2 minutes away. We would have preferred that wi-fi was available within the apartment - it was available in the common room across the courtyard and there was no video signal for the TV.
Patti from Melbourne, Australia - 10/2014
Guided Walking HolidaysExceeded our expectations
It is actually quite difficult to adequately describe the beauty of the Haute-Provence area and of course Forcalquier is the ideal base to begin your exploring. The accommodation certainly exceeded our expectations with its historical setting, fully equipped & only a stroll to every facility you require. I must make particular mention of mine-host, Graeme. Great company, always willing with recommendations and informative regarding must-see attractions. We had great pleasure in enjoying his company while sharing a glass or three of the local vin rose! Love to do it all again one day. With thanks.
Brian & Sue from Melbourne, Australia - 08/2014
Michel from Brittany, France - 08/2014
Guided Walking HolidaysWhat a great place!
We wanted to immediately return, when we had just arrived. What a great place to find in South of France! Graeme set up an easy meeting point for when we arrived. The apartment was in perfect - and charming - condition. It was much better in person than even the pictures, and we thoroughly enjoyed the courtyard for a post-market lunch and siesta. The location is two blocks from the very center of the town but very quiet except for the few church bells. We would recommend this apartment to anyone, but especially people staying longer than a day or two. The kitchen is a real treat, so plan to make a few meals. Also ideal space with a toddler.
Jacquelyn from Santa Monica, USA - 08/2014
Guided Walking HolidaysIdeal place for us
My fiance and I were looking for a quiet town in Provence to spend a relaxing couple of days. Graeme's apartment turned out to be the ideal place for us, and we were just so happy being there. Graeme is a professional host and has all the information you'd want about the area, including maps. He gave us some great recommendations on where to eat and hike during our stay. We even spent one evening chatting/drinking with Graeme and he was so gracious to invite us into his home. The apartment itself is ideal - we felt right at home. The street was very quiet, though just around the corner from the center of town. The wifi wasn't accessible in the rooms, but we could use it in his beautiful courtyard. Folcalquier is not far from the main highway, but it wasn't overrun with tourists, nor was it too quiet. There were plenty of restaurants, shops and even live music at night. We really wanted to extend our stay, but unfortunately he already had the unit reserved. We highly recommend his place to anyone exploring Provence.
Julie from Hawaii, USA - 08/2014
Guided Walking HolidaysUn merveilleux moment
Franck from Nice, France - 08/2014
Guided Walking HolidaysFar exceeded our expectations
Graeme and Gabriela's house in Forcalquier far exceeded our expectations. Not only was Forcalquier one of most charming Provencal towns we'd experienced, but the apartment was perfectly decorated and nicely situated on historical Rue St. Mary (steps away from the Citadelle). Graeme was a tremendous host (as Gabriela was traveling) and gave us wonderful recommendations for the surrounding area. The house is literally 50 steps from centre ville and various cafes and shops. The Monday market is not to be missed, if you have the opportunity to stay at their house. We highly recommend the house, Forcalquier and our hosts. We'll be back again soon .
Andrew & Roya from New York, USA - 05/2014
Guided Walking HolidaysWe felt like home!
Gabriela and Graeme's place is FANTASTIC! We felt like home! It is located in a very charming village close to Aix en Provence. They gave us all support we needed!!! I strongly recommend having this experience! I met Gabriela and she is so nice and friendly! Everything worked perfectly and I will come back as soon as I will be able to! The shower is amazing, the bed too! The kitchen amazingly equipped! I spent 4 days with my mom and we both loved it! You should go!
Manoela from São Paulo, Brazil - 04/2014
Guided Walking HolidaysVery well appointed and homely
Gorgeous apartment in the heart of the old town in Forcalquier. Very well appointed and homely. Gabriela was a wonderful host, including us in pre-dinner drinks and some lovely appetizers in her garden, with a few people who had done her walking tour. She was very helpful with suggestions for dining and things to do in the area. Gorges du Verdon was spectacular if you have time and the Monday morning market loads of fun. Two nights wasn't long enough - hope to be back one day! Thanks so much Gabriela and Graeme.
Rachel from New Plymouth, Taranaki, New Zealand - 09/2013
Guided Walking HolidaysA truly an authentic Provence experience
Graeme and Gabriela are wonderful hosts. Their flat in Forcalquier is truly an authentic Provence experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the classic finishes and furnishings. The location is quiet and central to the village and region. Linda and I highly recommend this charming place. Paul especially enjoyed playing the piano while Linda painted a beautiful watercolor on the terrace. G and G are very knowledgeable about the area and history of the area. We are grateful to them for this opportunity to connect with them and this fantastic place.
Paul and Li from Santa Cruz, USA - 08/2013
Guided Walking HolidaysTitle says it all
This truly is a charming place. The apartments are well stocked, and the terrace of our apartment was charming indeed. Gabriella and Greame are nice and service-minded and was able to help us with tips for our stay.

Guided Walking HolidaysOne of the biggest showers in southern France!
I'm not certain that we could stumbled upon more gracious hosts than Graeme & Gabriela, to start off our break in Provence. From the outset Graeme was very generous with his knowledge of the region and thanks to him we discovered incredible parts of Provence that weren't on our radar. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and well equipped, including one of the biggest showers in southern France. We will most definitely book in for a longer stay on our next trip!
Ernest from Sydney, NSW, Australia - 05/2013
Guided Walking HolidaysLots of charm and character
Graeme & Gabrielle's apartment is located in the old part of Forcalquier a short walk to all the town has to offer. The internal courtyard and lovely comfortable apartment in a typical old building has lots of charm and character though lots of stairs to climb. Parking is available nearby. Graeme provided lots of local travel advice and we spent three days visiting sights recommended by him. We would certainly recommend this apartment.
Ian from Gold Coast, Australia - 05/2013
Guided Walking HolidaysThe apartment was perfect
We had the pleasure of staying 5 nights in one of Graeme and Gabriela's charming apartments. Their place is located in the heart of Forcalquier, very close to the center and restaurants. Graeme met us in the town center and help us park our car and carry our luggages. We were very happy to find that they had a place to store our bicycles. The apartment was perfect, got everything we needed. The highlight for us was our terrace where we enjoyed breakfast and BBQ at night. We felt like we knew Graeme for years, he invited us for a pastis and we had a very nice time. I recommend their place to anyone who wishes to stay in Lubéron. One of the great place for cycling in France. We will be back for sure.

Guided Walking HolidaysA Charming Place in Provence
We recently stayed in Forcalquier for 11 nights at the premises of Graeme and Gabriela Clarke and can't speak highly enough of our time there. Graeme met us in the village and helped us with car parking and getting our luggage to the lovely apartment we had rented from him. Although we had some plans of places we wished to visit, Graeme gave us invaluable advice about places we either did not know about or hadn't planned to see. It was great to have him living nearby so any problem which arose (and as it turned out, there weren't any) could be resolved quickly. Thank you Graeme for helping to make our holiday not only in Forcalquier but also in other areas of Provence such a success.
Nola and Ted from Melbourne, Australia - 04/2013
Guided Walking HolidaysJust amazing!
Graeme & Gabriela's place is just amazing. They've got a number of apartments that all converge on a central terrace that is stunning, and the indoor spaces are JUST what you'd need. Even though the apartments share the central courtyard, there is a great deal of privacy as each of the apartments also has its own balcony. We decided to cook dinner for ourselves one night, and we found the full kitchen stocked with some basic essentials which was awesome. The furnishings, the design, and of course, the hosts are top notch, and thanks to the help of Graeme, we took an epic scenic drive back to Nice on our last day that proved to be the highlight of our trip. Whether in town or in the surrounding areas of Provence, Graeme is extremely well suited to give tips and suggestions on what to see and where to go. I HIGHLY recommend this apartment to anyone looking to have an great time in one of the most picturesque towns in France. it really is a gem that many seem to overlook. Thank you SO much to Graeme and Gabriela for hosting us in their lovely spot. We'll certainly be back next time we're in Provence.
Taylor and Adrienne from Vancouver, Canada - 04/2013
Guided Walking HolidaysPlan on coming back someday
Gabriela was very welcoming as she met us in the town center and showed us where to park overnight. She even helped us carry our bags up to the apartment. The apartment was cozy and all the amenities were available. Gabriela also suggested some small hiking and restaurants to eat at. My only regret was not staying longer and we plan on coming back someday. I would recommend to anyone in the area. Thanks Gabriela!

Guided Walking HolidaysExcellent sightseeing recommendations
Dear Gabriela and Graeme, thank you so much for welcoming us into your apartments and your town over the past two weeks. We have had a wonderful stay and really appreciated your hospitality and excellent sightseeing recommendations. It was so great for us to experience a cold climate christmas and I know one that our kids will always remember - they especially loved the idea of 13 desserts (think that might become a Brisbane tradition from now on!) - Many thanks again – hope to see you in Brisbane soon.

Guided Walking HolidaysA lovely time
Thank you for your care of us. We had a lovely time. The flats were warm, cosy and practical as well as having decorative touches that made them different. And what a surprise with the weather - clear blue skies (if cold) - to enjoy Forcalquier and its surrounds, Gorges du Verdon and as far as Cassis - all within easy reach. We leave with regret.

Guided Walking HolidaysThe perfect Provence experience
Fabulous location, fabulous accommodation, and fabulous hosts. We stayed at this wonderful apartment for a week with our nine-month-old son. From the moment we arrived, we could not believe our luck. Our apartment was perfect for our family. Spacious, beautiful, light-filled, quiet and comfortable. The courtyard was lovely, and the town itself gorgeous. Graeme was kind, friendly and welcoming. He helped us plan a wonderful few days in the area, and could not have been more hospitable. We've done a lot of travelling and this is one of the true gems we've been lucky enough to discover. We've been recommending this wonderful place to all of our friends and family and hope to be back ourselves. The perfect Provence experience.

Guided Walking HolidaysWonderfully located, wonderfully romantic
Extremely well located apartment in the old town of Forcalquier. Nice and shady courtyard, spacious apartments with lots of space. A few minutes up to the church / village square with restaurants, shops and cafes. Gabriela picked us up at the church and the parking / Apt. out and explains Tip's and in and around Forcalquier. Oliver.
Guided Walking HolidaysExceeded our expectations in every way
My husband and I had the privilege of staying in this gorgeous villa. I knew I wanted to spend a week in Provence, but hadn't a clue on where to stay. I began searching Trip advisor and came across 'A Place in Provence' and immediately fell in love with the pictures. We didn't even know where Forcalquier was, but thought we'd take a chance. Well all I can say is wow. When Graeme opened the gates to the courtyard, I knew I'd made the absolute best choice. If you're looking for a true regional experience of Provence, then this will be it. From the accommodations, Graeme's wonderfully understated gracious hospitality to the town itself, you will not be disappointed. He gave us several recommendations of the area sites, and he didn't steer us wrong. The apartment was not only beautiful, but very secluded and tranquil - no vehicle noises, I don't think Rick and I've slept better. If you're looking for a low key immersion in the regional flavour, then this is the place. Thank you Graeme for a wonderful week, we hope to come back some day.

Guided Walking HolidaysA great place to rest and enjoy the delights of rural France
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Graeme and Gabriela'a in Forcalquier. Their villa was perfect for the 3 of us. Spacious, quiet, well equipped, in the heart of the old town close. Graeme was a great host, offering information about places to visit, where to eat etc. We would happily have stayed longer than our 7 day stay.

Guided Walking HolidaysPerfect spot
A well kept up to date apartment on a cobble stone street, within a short walk to the town. Town has great restaurants, a post office, banks etc. A very central location to a wonderful countryside and other small towns.

Guided Walking HolidaysLovely accommodation
The apartment is part of an old house in the historic center of a medieval village very nice. Inside the house there are several apartments that share a courtyard full of plants, quiet, where you can read or relax on the sun stretched. Both the apartment and the courtyard are beautiful, are decorated with antique furniture and the apartment, though it is on the first floor, is bright, they bring all windows with shutters charming French. The menage of cooking goes far beyond what is necessary to spend a week, and the whole apartment is very clean and does not lack any detail. We were a couple with a two year old girl who slept in a crib in our room, but the house also has a small room with a sofa bed that can be made, and where there is TV and games. A lovely place.

Antonio and Ester

Guided Walking HolidaysFabulous apartments in Forcalquier, Provence, Fantastic Hosts
I have stayed at two of Graeme & Gabriela's apartments, one in Forcalquier and the other in Aix-en-Provence. The first time in 2006 I spent a month in one of their apartments in Forcalquier and two weeks in their apartment in Aix-en-Provence. Both are fantastic, always very clean, very quiet and peaceful. The location in Forcalquier is superb, it is only a few minutes to the centre of the town and the square. The apartments are nice and secure, I felt very safe staying here. The amenities they provide in the apartments are all you could ask for. If you like to cook, the kitchen is excellent and there is always good fresh produce to be found at the local market. The best of all about these apartments is the hosts, Graeme & Gabriela. They are fantastic, so courteous & helpful, inviting me into their own home for dinner and aperitifs. I fully recommend these apartments to anyone who wants to enjoy sometime in a beautiful Provence village.

Guided Walking HolidaysOutstanding !
We really enjoyed our stay in Forcalquier ! The apartment was cozy, clean and offered all the amenities that one would expect from. The owner and neighbour are wonderful people and were very helpful. We loved the location as there is a lot to do in the area. Well worth the money, would go there again without hesitation
