Booking Terms and Conditions

To reserve your Walkabout Gourmet Adventure a $500 deposit is required (Australia $200). The balance of the tour cost is payable 90 days prior to the departure (Australia 30 days). All bookings made within 30 days before departure are payable in full. Last minute bookings may also be possible.

Cancellations and Booking conditions

Cancellations more than 90 days before departure - deposit forfeited or transferred to an available tour in the following year, less than 89 days but more than 60 days - 50% refund on the tour price. Less than 59 days - no refund is possible unless your place is resold in which case you receive a 50% refund on tour price. No refund will be made to those failing to join their tour. Walkabout Gourmet Adventures reserve the right to cancel any departure in which case no liability shall fall upon Walkabout Gourmet Adventures. We reserve the right to alter prices and itineraries without notice and to decline any booking. We also reserve the right to request any person to withdraw from the holiday if we deem their acts or conduct to be offensive to or incompatible with the conduct of other clients and we shall be under no further liability thereafter to any such person. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that passport, visas, health certificates or other travel documentation required for the holiday are obtained by them and that these are in order and to meet any additional costs incurred as a result of failure to comply with such requirements.

Walking Tour Costings

Walkabout Gourmet Adventures reserve the right to recost the tours depending on exchange rate fluctuations.

Waiver of Liability Form

To: Walkabout Gourmet Adventure Pty. Ltd. and the various Land Management Authorities who grant the Licence to operate this adventure trip being the Licensor. In consideration of accepting my application for, and being permitted to go on the adventure trip in the land owned by the Licensor or elsewhere, I agree to this release of claims, waiver of liability and assumption of risk (collectively, this Agreement). I waive any and all claims I may now and in the future have against, and release from all Liabilities and agree not to sue Walkabout Gourmet Adventure and its officers, employees, guides, agents or representatives (collectively its Staff) or the Licensor for any personal injury, death, property damage or loss sustained by me as a result of my participation in an adventure trip with WGA due to any cause whatsoever, including without limitation, negligence on the part of Walkabout Gourmet Adventure, its staff or the Licensor.

I am aware that your adventure trip, in addition to usual dangers and risks inherent has certain additional dangers and risks some of which may include: Weather extremes subject to sudden and unexpected change; Physical exertion for which I may not be prepared; Evacuation difficulties if I am disabled; Remoteness to normal medical services.

I accept all the inherent risks of the proposed adventure trip and possibility of personal injury, death, property damage or loss resulting therefrom. I acknowledge that the enjoyment and excitement of adventure travel is derived in part from the inherent risks incurred by travel and activity beyond the accepted safety of life at home or work and that these inherent risks contribute to such enjoyment and excitement, being a reason for my participation. I agree that if I suffer injury or illness Walkabout Gourmet Adventure can, at my cost, arrange medical treatment and emergency evacuation service, as Walkabout Gourmet Adventure deem essential for my safety. In entering into the Agreement, I am not relying on any oral, written or visual representatives or statements by WGA or its Staff or any other inducement or coercion to go on the adventure trip, hence, only of my free will.

I confirm that I am at an age of legal consent (18 and over) and that I have read and understand this Agreement prior to signing it agree that this Agreement will be binding upon my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators and successors.

I agree that this Agreement shall be governed in all respects and interpreted in accordance with the law of the State of Victoria, Australia. I consent to the use of any photo or videotape taken of me while on a tour to be used for advertising and promotion for Walkabout Gourmet Adventures. We require a medical certificate for all clients over 75 years of age. Appropriate travel insurance is compulsory for all clients.
