Journey through the Holy Land

Highlights

Overview

Embark on an unforgettable journey through the rich landscapes and historical treasures of Jordan. Starting in the vibrant capital city of Amman, this adventure immerses you in the ancient and captivating history of one of the Middle East’s most storied lands.

Discover the awe-inspiring Roman ruins of Jerash, one of the world’s best-preserved archaeological masterpieces. Wander through its triumphal arches, grand temples, and colonnaded streets, where history comes to life in spectacular fashion.

Venture into the striking desert landscapes of Wadi Rum, where Lawrence of Arabia once roamed. This vast and beautiful desert, with its towering sandstone cliffs and shifting pink sands, offers a stunning natural backdrop for exploration. With the guidance of local Bedouins, experience the magic of the desert on foot and by camel. End the day with a traditional Bedouin feast under the stars, surrounded by the peaceful serenity of the desert night.

No visit to Jordan would be complete without exploring the legendary lost city of Petra. This UNESCO World Heritage site, carved from rose-red sandstone, was the capital of the Nabateans in the 3rd century BC. Walk through the narrow Siq to the magnificent Treasury, admire the Royal Tombs, and climb to the stunning Monastery. Petra’s breathtaking beauty and remarkable history will leave you in awe at every turn.

Further enrich your journey with a visit to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth and a place of relaxation and rejuvenation. Renowned for its therapeutic waters, the Dead Sea’s high concentration of minerals offers a unique opportunity to float effortlessly and enjoy the curative properties of its mud, which has been prized for over 2,000 years. Take time to relax at a luxurious spa resort, where you can indulge in world-class treatments set against the backdrop of this mystical natural wonder.

Along the way, immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Jordan’s landscapes, including the Dana Nature Reserve with its rugged mountains and deep valleys. Visit Mount Nebo, the site where Moses is said to have first glimpsed the Promised Land, and explore the ancient mosaics of Madaba, including its famed map of the Holy Land.

Hotels & Cuisine

During our “Journey through the Holy Land”, we will be staying at some truly remarkable locations that promise both comfort and an authentic local experience.

Our first four nights will be spent in luxurious chalets at a desert camp, nestled seamlessly into the Moon Valley’s stunning landscape. Built in the Bedouin Arabic tradition by its Jordanian owners, the camp offers an extraordinary fusion of natural materials and modern luxury. With spectacular views and stunning swimming pool, it is a serene oasis in the vast desert.

From there, we move to the elegant 5-star Mövenpick Resort in Wadi Musa, just steps away from the entrance to the ancient city of Petra. This hotel embodies a unique oriental charm, combining natural stone, handcrafted wood, and rich Middle Eastern textiles. With its inviting outdoor pool, steam bath, and fully-equipped gym, it offers relaxation and rejuvenation after a day of exploring the wonders of Petra.

In the peaceful village of Dana, we’ll spend two nights in newly built rooms that offer private balconies with breathtaking views. Here, far from the hustle and bustle of city life, you can enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of this historic location.

For our final stop in Jordan, we will indulge in the ultimate luxury at the Kempinski Ishtar, perched overlooking the Dead Sea. Famous for its healing ozone-rich air and mineral-packed waters, this hotel offers an incredible spa experience amidst lush gardens, lagoons, waterfalls, and private pools. Whether you choose to relax in the indoor Jacuzzi, steam room, or indulge in one of the many therapies like Ayurveda or local mud treatments, this exclusive retreat will be the perfect way to end our journey.
